The black rubber grip on the base prevents it from sliding or tipping over.

* The binding spool's top is threaded so you can easily remove it to slip on pre rolled binding that you’ve purchased or made.
* The removable top allows you to roll up your newly made binding and remove it for future use. When used for this purpose cardstock must be used between the fabric and the wooden spindles rubber grip so the newly wound spool of binding can be removed.
* Freshly made binding can be wound onto the Binding Buddy for immediate use with use of the wooden spindle’s rubber grip feature. The rubber grip feature works so well that you will be unable to slip the binding roll off the spindle without the center pulling out. This why winding your binding on with the rubber grip is designed for you to unwind the binding spool when sewing.

The Susan bearing is made in the USA.
The Binding Buddy stands 9" tall and is 5.5" wide at its base.
Its 1" spindle has black rubber Grip inlaid that grips your cotton fabric when winding the binding on.
A 5" clear extension base is included for queen and king size binding.
The base of the Binding Buddy is covered with an anti-slip black rubber Grip membrane.
Use it for your start from scratch quilt projects or with your quilting kits. It is the first of its kind binding tool that makes sewing on your binding sew-easy.
